February 16, 2010; Mt. Holly Springs, PA:  Wow...it's been a bit since I've updated the "News"...sorry for the delay and so much for the 'off season'!  I'm NOT complaining, but it used to be nice with a few months of 'down time' during the Winter to gear up for the year to come, but this year we've been busy!  Still working on a menu that I thought would have been ready LAST month, gearing up for our perrenial trip to 'Pork-In-the-Park' on April 16th & 17th this year and making sure that we've got a full smoker all season long!  You could say its been a bit busy!

I can't say too much about the new menu cause we're still working it out, but I can say for sure that it WILL include Mac & Cheese (of some variety) and Cobblers!  Those are the 'will haves'....still working on the 'considering' list!  SO, it's not to late if you've got a favorite to shoot off an e-mail and let me know what it is! Speaking of competition season approaching, we are ALWAYS looking for like minded 'new blood' on the Competition Team!  We are planning appearances at several KCBS events this year and are always appreciative of help, so if you are interested just let us know!

Finally, I am still digging my way toward the Traeger and hope to have some smoked something for dinner soon!  I was dismayed to hear recently that Traeger had decided to send some production off shore!  Too bad that in order to grow or perhaps to maintain a competitive advantage an company's got to give up the very thing that made it unique to begin with!  There are still a few American Made alternatives out there....as usual I would refer you to the Pellet Grill Outlet web site for specifics: (no I don't get a commission!) www.pelletgrilloutlet.com!
